Land-use change is a threat in urban areas, the less land, which is converted for the benefit of the development sector, will impact the sustainability of food security. This research was conducted for three months, starting from June to August 2020. The study aimed to design an agroforestry landscape model for food security and environmental ecology improvement on the Condet riverbank in the Ciliwung Tengah watershed, Jakarta. The method used was direct field surveys to collect primary and secondary data. The preliminary data and secondary data were analyzed descriptively as a basis for consideration in making the right riparian agroforestry landscape design model to be applied in the research location. The results showed that the design model would divide the boundary area into three zones according to the river's character. The environment and local community needs will underlie each zone's design according to the agroforestry criteria. This design model hopes that besides, food security can be achieved and the environmental quality can be improved.
