After the pandemic was declared over, it had an impact with increasing demand for rented office space in early 2023, followed by the trend of streamlining and efficiency of office space, which was suspected of causing new problems in postpandemic conventional office layouts (JLL 2020a, JLL report Q4 2022). This trend of streamlining and efficiency of office space is strengthened by the shift to online, offline and hybrid systems and the push towards digitalization in response to the Covid-19 restrictions has had an unprecedented impact on office work with respect to social sustainability, particularly the work environment, organizational innovation capabilities , as well as the welfare and performance of office workers
